This guided walking tour weaves together true stories, local legends, and rich history across some of the city’s most iconic and meaningful locations. Guests will enjoy a relaxed, easy-paced walk of approximately 0.9 miles, with engaging storytelling at each stop—from historic cemeteries and churches to the waterfront at Union Point Park. Along the way, you’ll hear tales of resilience, sacrifice, mystery, and life in early New Bern—brought to life in a way that is immersive, respectful, and unforgettable. Tours last approximately 75–90 minutes and include a unique finale featuring a sea shanty sing-along before the closing story. Family-friendly early evening tours are available. Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to departure, and all tours start promptly on time.
